Theodor

Founded in 2021 in Munich by Robert Herz (vocals, drums), Lui Hill (vocals, percussion), Maximilian Schneider (vocals, keyboard) and Grégoire Pignède (bass), the band was born out of a recording session to eventually become THEODOR.

The name of the band Theodor is inspired by my cat: Theodor. He is 24 years old and is part of the house where I live. It’s an open space and a meeting point for a group of friends and musicians. When we wrote and recorded the album, we ended up staying in this house every night for long recording sessions, cooking and listening. For this reason, we came up with the idea of writing a song text from the point of view of a cat and naming the band after THEODOR.
