How do I know if an item is in stock?
Our website reflects current stock levels of our inventory as accurate as possible. Very occasionally an item may be subject to a stock level error. If this occurs we will refund your order and contact you by email.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and PayPal. 

How do I know you have received my order?
You will receive an immediate e-mail confirmation for your order detailing the items ordered and the total cost. An additional email will be sent once the order has been processed and shipped, including any related tracking numbers.

Is ordering on your website secure?
Yes. Our website is encrypted to ensure the security of all orders. The information you send or receive through the site is private.

Do you sell second hand records?
Yes. We use the Goldmine Standard for grading the condition of items listed on our website. You can see more information about record grading here.

Can I change or update my order?
Because we pack orders very quickly and ship daily most orders cannot be changed once processed. Please email us at info@theixtapeshop.com if you have ordered recently and we can try our best to help.

Do you ship internationally?
Because of price changes since COVID we have disabled international shipping on our website. If shipping is not available in your country please email us at info@themixtapeshop.com and we’ll work with you to offer a shipping quote and create an order manually. 

When will my order ship?
Orders are dispatched every day except Sunday, all orders ship within 24 hours of being received. 

How do I track my order?
You will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number as soon as your order is processed. 

Where is my order?
You will receive an email confirmation with a tracking number once your order is packaged and ready for USPS collection. Please note that it can take time for postal services to update tracking information. We want you to receive your order quickly and work hard to ensure USPS is in possession of your item as soon as possible.

Can you guarantee delivery by a particular date?
Unfortunately not. We dispatch all orders quickly, but exact delivery dates are beyond our control. 

Is my order insured?
Orders shipped Priority Mail include insurance. Media Mail packages via USPS are not insured.

How much will I pay for shipping?
Our standard shipping is $5 for an unlimited number of items via USPS Media Mail. Additional options are available and costs will be calculated during checkout. 

What if my order is lost or damaged?
In the unlikely event that you do not receive your order, please contact us. If your order arrives incorrect or damaged, please contact us within 7 days of receipt.

How long will my package take to arrive?
USPS estimates 3-10 day delivery within the US for Media Mail. Please note: we have witnessed delays with tracking updates and delivery times since COVID. We will continue to process orders as soon as possible to limit delays. Expedited options are available at check out via USPS Priority Mail and UPS.
